Good morning and             H A P P Y  M O T H E R ' S   D A Y ! !   It is about 6 am here and I realize that this has probably always been the best part of the day.  It's the calm before the storm; well it used to be.  I could have that cuppa of coffee or tea and a few minutes of quiet.  You know, before the screams and squeals of children readying themselves for the coming day!  Mom where is my ......?   What did you do with my ..... ?   I can't find my homework!  clothes!  shoes!   LOL!   You know that daily, intense injection of complete confusion and chaos trying to get out of the house to school and work!  Well those days are changing.  My son, will graduate from high school in about three weeks  - wow!  the end to this phase of Motherhood!  (whatever will I do?)
All of my children are either out there living life (with children of her own - HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY) or in college now.  I am facing another transition and my thoughts are filled with memories of the last remnants of my childhood as I struggled to become the person that I am now.  Memories of my children's first steps (and mine as a Mom) and years that flew through kindergarten, first grade, high school and now college, I am filled with such happiness as well as a kind of sadness that comes with the realization that the adults that stand before me now are beginning a new phase of their awesome journeys; they start new books...writing across their pages of their "time".  I ask God that I can stay here forever so that I don't miss anything!  I don't want to miss a moment!  Lol!  I shall miss the "children" (probably forever...sigh); but look forward to what comes next.  Lord, let me stay awhile so that I can cheer (very loudly) for the four angels you've blessed me with!  Amen...
I wish you all a lovely  HAPPY MOTHER'S Day ...  If you aren't able to be with your loved ones, then celebrate the memories of those times spent together and pray for us all ... a better future.  To my children - I LOVE YOU MORE! ! !
