WHEEEE!!
I've not posted because I am running around trying to get ready for the upcoming school year. My ds's 14th birthday is this Sunday and I'm trying to surprise him with a new wallet....I am designing the wallet. Also making blocks for the mystery quilt group in Stashbusters! That is going to be one interesting looking quilt. Trees came home this week; along with some really nice fabrics!!! I am excited about getting that quilt together or perhaps I will make individual wall hangings. Let me see, I have completed the top and borders of the Carolina Crossroads Mystery quilt.... hope to have it quilted by Sunday! lol... I have finished the Orange Crush Mystery Quilt top (center) and was waiting for fabric to make the borders....got that yummy fab...so next week I should finish that and get it ready to quilt. Quilting.... not looking forward to quilting those quilts on my DSM... yikes, the CC is 86 x 86...and the OC is headed to about the same size; I will do the best that I can....hmmmmm. It would cost toooo much to have a longarmer quilt them...oh well, I will post the results... no matter how ugly!!!! lol... For some reason, I really want to make dolls, so I think I'll be working on dolls and purses during August! We'll see, now maybe my aching arm will let me sleep for awhile.....;-)

Judy Laquidara's BOM
Judy Laquidara is a wonderful, awesome designer, quilter, longarm artist and she is hosting a BOM which will begin on August 1 and to finish sometime in July 2009. I plan to sew along with her. You can join us as well....just click on the title with Judy's name and it links directly to her blog and information. Today, I am joining her and a few other quilters as they sew along for a two day quiltathon!!!! Must go and join the others...and play catch up!

YTRR UPDATE
The Carol Doak Yours Truly Round Robin ended June 30....of course I did not finish on time (last minute decision to participate). My decision came about following posting a really nice June block of the month; it inspired me to make a quilt around it! Well after taking the center out of the quilt and revising the strips a little and adding the next round #4, here is an updated picture.... One more round to the finish! Also, I think I will post the latest doll addition. She doesn't have her special "outfit" yet but here she is wearing a "Wrap".....isn't she just unique?
lol....

YTRR Progress
Progress made on the Yours Truly Round Robing...sadly not a finish....got two more rounds.... I am loving Carol Doak's books and patterns... they can be resized for more creative patterns! I was inspired by the June block of the month... I really enjoy lots of colors! lol! So far I'm thinking of calling it "Chaos"....
